About me

Hello, I'm Attila Horváth, you're looking at my works. I was born in Győr in 1979 and completed my school years here. I learned how to sandblast glass and mirrors in 2009. In 2010 I started to focus more on 3D, i.e. deep sandblasting, which I have continued to develop to this day.

Hogyan „terítettem le” két kézzel a sárkányt?
Avagy a sárkány születése…

Where does the story of my creation begin?

Maybe that's where I started with the question of self-confidence. Imagine I went through such a critical period that I broke down both emotionally and mentally. You read it right, I had to start from such a low place.

With the help of my mentor, I finally came out of that period. I also chose him. And looking back, it was one of the best decisions of my life. Without him I wouldn't be where I am now.

I started with the exercises that are essential for my development. Furthermore, I listened to his positive, self-evolving audio materials so many times that I fully experienced everything. You heard it right, I've experienced it several times. My habits and my whole life have changed. I began to rise above the time of crisis.

One of the audios said: “Start now with what you have and where you are”! And that's what I did, and that's how the first version of this dragon came into existence.

So I decided that I wanted to somehow incorporate a dragon drawing into the editing program. In an editing program that I didn't even understand at the time! And if you ask why I chose a dragon? It never occurred to me why. I think it came unconsciously

In the end I found that I had to redraw the selected dragon for this process. Imagine that I spread four A3 sheets of paper on the television and drew from there. From there the dragon moved on to stencil making and eventually glass.

When I told and showed my mentor about the process of my work, he was shocked and said: “My God... Attila, you forced the dragon not only figuratively, but also literally!!!” And guess what, it was only then that it became clear to me what he was saying.

Symbolically, the challenges we face in life are the “dragons” that must be forced if we are to achieve our goals. I, on the other hand, wanted to create something monumental for myself that would surpass all my previous works. And as you can see, it worked.

By the way, have you ever asked yourself why you read what I write? And which “dragons” do you have to conquer in life? And imagine the daily sight of a mirror or glass picture that I created with real passion and positive energies in your home... what impact would it have on achieving your own goals??
